National Conference
It’s hard to know where to begin with our National Conference, if you were there, you probably know what I mean!
400+ delegates from right around our nation gathered in Adelaide over three days of timely preaching, insightful leadership, and warm fellowship. Jon Tyson, an Adelaide boy who’s been serving the gospel in New York city for over a decade challenged us with penetrating preaching on what it means to be renewed by the gospel. Arnaldo Santiago, a church planter in South-West Sydney, lit a fire with his powerful message on the Fuel For Renewal.
But beyond the excellent preaching, and input from a panel of ministry practitioners, much of the warmth felt by those in Adelaide came from the hearth of deep Christian fellowship. The South Australian team who organised the three days served us well by preparing the alter on which the Spirit of God produced the unquenchable fire of gospel unity. It was such a joy to see knots of brothers in sisters, spanning across boarders and demographics, huddled together in joyful conversation, or bowed heads as they prayed with and for each other, or kneeling in confession side-by-side, as the Lord accomplished his gracious work among us.
Continue to pray for the work begun during this pivotal moment in our network’s history. If you missed it, or were there and want to revisit some of the plenary sessions again, recording have now been made available on YouTube.
