CCCAUST NSW

  • CCCAust NSW (Christian Community Churches of Australia) is a network of independent Bible-believing churches working side by side to see Christ known. We aim to be a thriving network of healthy, growing & multiplying churches. Our network is built upon the strong history of the Open Brethren churches of Australia. We are proud of this heritage and are thankful for the DNA that we have inherited.

The good news of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection are at the heart of everything we do at CCCAust NSW. We believe and hold to the whole bible as God’s inspired word to us that shapes and guides all we do as a network.

We love the local church! We believe that the church is the primary place where God’s people are shepherded and equipped to go to all nations with the message of love, forgiveness and hope found in Jesus.

We are a proudly diverse network that is comprised of many different churches and support ministries from several different cultural backgrounds. CCCAust NSW is also part of the broader CCCAust nation-wide network with more than 200 churches across the country.

  • CCCAust NSW seeks to work side by side with local churches to resource, train and support local church leadership. We do this by offering local churches:

Pastoral Support: CCCAust NSW offers pastoral support and care for church leaders as they work towards health, growth and multiplication.

Training & Resourcing: CCCAust NSW acknowledges and values the hard work of church leaders. We offer practical resourcing and training for current and future church leaders in many areas including preaching, leadership, team management & more.

Conferences: CCCAust NSW holds a variety of conferences throughout the year. Each of our conferences prioritises quality biblical teaching, fellowship with other members of the network and providing space to strengthen and support one another in pursuing the shared vision of seeing churches healthy, growing & multiplying.

Compliance & Insurance: CCCAust offers support for our churches in all areas of compliance, insurance, WHS and Safe Ministry. CCCAust also provides our churches with regular information updates with regard to relevant government legislation & other legal requirements.

Marriage Licences: CCCAust NSW is recognised by the Australian government as a denomination under the Marriage Act 1961 for the purposes of authorising marriage celebrants to solemnise marriages. When a church joins CCCAust NSW, we are able to nominate new marriage celebrants from within our churches or request that their licence be transferred to CCCAust if they are already registered with another network.

SRE: CCCAust NSW provides our churches with SRE training and accreditation for Scripture Teaching in NSW schools.

Support Ministries: CCCAust NSW also works in partnership with several support ministries such as CCCCamps, Hands & Feet, the Australian College of Christian Studies (ACCS) and Christian Brethren Community Services (CBCS).

Financial Support: CCCAust works in partnership with the Steward’s Foundation to help resource our member churches by offering grants for church planting, church growth, church leadership, as well as various other minor funding grants.

  • We believe that independent churches are stronger when they are working side by side to see God’s kingdom grow. Being a part of CCCAust NSW unites you to a network of like-minded churches that are seeking to be healthy, growing and multiplying.

We are passionate about being united by a common vision, enjoying genuine fellowship, and supporting and resourcing one another to see the name of Jesus made known and see many more people come to faith in him.

At CCCAust NSW we are passionate about providing both operational and pastoral support to our churches and church leaders so that they are freed to focus on what they are called to do in the gospel; to make disciples of all nations for Christ. We aim to do all that we can to facilitate this ministry by equipping our churches with as much support as they require to see the vision of our network achieved.
